Ten Best Movie Proposals

So far 2020 has been a year for comfort and self-care. With so many of us relegated to home for both work and play, we are challenged to find ways to remind ourselves that life remains a magical experience even in challenging times. We need romance as much now, if not more, than ever.

For many people, their romantic relationships provide one of the most meaningful aspects of life. Remember, romance is at its core about strengthening connections. Although many people find themselves limited to enjoying romance on a small screen, there remain many powerful scenes of romance for those looking for a little magic.

2020 Romantic Movies

2020 is intended to be an interesting year for romance on the big screen. Movies scheduled to hit the big screen this year so far range from “Emma,” a retelling of a Jane Austen classic to “Holly Slept Over” in which a couple explores unconventional love, multiple relationships, and bisexuality.

Diversity in 2020 Romantic Films

This year in romantic movies offers a new level of diversity in the characters moviegoers encounter. For example, set in 1840s England, in the film “Ammonite” starring Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan, explores the power of love between two women.

Another 2020 romantic film hit, “The Photograph,” takes us on a journey with an African American woman (Issa Rae) who suddenly lost her famous mother (a notable photographer). Issa Rae’s character delves into an unexpected, yet powerful chemistry with an upcoming journalist (LaKeith Stanfield), whilst learning more about her family’s rich history.

Engagement Proposal Ring Tips

If you find yourself in the market for an engagement ring, there are a few things you should know.

The Four C’s of Diamond Buying:

When you are looking for a diamond engagement ring you want to pay attention to:

Carat:

The carat weight, or size, of your diamond, will have a huge impact on the cost of your engagement ring. The cost of a diamond will increase exponentially as carat weight increases.

Cut:

The cut of your diamond is designed to add sparkle and drama to your gemstone. Often considered the most important of the 4 C’s, a quality cut enhances how the gem interacts with light.

Clarity:

As diamonds grow, flaws or inclusions can develop. These tiny imperfections become the fingerprints that identify each diamond’s uniqueness.

Color:

Although we generally think of diamonds as colorless, the reality is that there is a soft yellow or brown tint to most diamonds. The more color a diamond has, the less sparkle you will tend to get.

Ring Inspiration:

Whether you are looking for a rose gold engagement ring, a traditional halo ring, or a more contemporary design, you will find plenty of inspiration with Clarity gemstone engagement rings. We offer the following precious stones:
